Highest peaks of the world. For the thrill seekers, Himalayas is the

pilgrims they are the most sacred and revered mountain ranges in the world.
From ancient times these holy mountains were considered the abode of Lord
Shiva. It was here in the mist shrouded crags of these mystic ranges that
the legends and myths of Hinduism were born and thrive to this day. Indian Himalaya
Himalayan range covers the entire northern part of India, nestling five major states of the country within it. The ancient Indian pilgrims who have traveled in these mountains since time immemorial have coined a Sanskrit word for the Himalayas meaning "Abode of Snow".
People have been fascinated by the Indian Himalayas because of the Hindu pilgrim routes, the low valleys that abruptly rises up in high mountain ranges, the lovely trekking routes, densely forest areas lying just a mountain range away from barren cold deserts, and the lovely people of the mountains with their unique hospitable lifestyles.
Nepal Himalaya
Nepal lies in between the southern slope of Himalayas with eight of the highest peaks in the world. This region accounts for about 64% of total land area. It is formed by the Mahabharat range that soars up to 4,877m and the lower Churia range. The low-land Terai occupies about 17% of the total land area of the country.
Nepal, a sovereign independent Kingdom, is bounded on the North by the Tibetan Autonomous Region of the Peoples Republic of China, the East-south and West by India. The length of the kingdom is 885-kms East-West and its breadth varies from 145-241-kms North-South. The country can be divided into three main geographical regions: Nepal Himalaya Region, Nepal Mountain Region and Nepal Terai Region.
Bhutan Himalaya
Bhutan, the land of the Thunder Dragon, this mountain kingdom is still perhaps the worlds most exclusive tourist destination. An unspoiled country with majestic mountains embued with a certain mystique; a unique cultural heritage preserved intact and with a continuity of many centuries; an architectural style like no other; a land of full of warm hearted and friendly people.
Situated in the heart of the great himalayas, the world's mightiest range; Bhutan is flanked on the north and north west by Tibet, the plains of North-East India to the south and south west and the hills of India's north eastern state of Arunachal Pradesh to the east.
Tibet Himalaya
Tibet or the "Roof of the world" as it is known is not mere a statement and it can be gauged by the fact that the lowest ranges of Tibet Himalayas are among the highest mountains. Located 470-kms away from Bhutan at an average altitude of 4,000 m. April to November is the best month to be here.
